Hopefully they use a different type of material for the back. Matte perhaps? This wouldn't be that bad, to be honest. Bigger screen, faster and a revamp of iOS 5 is all I really want.
I'm sure Apple won't disappoint & I'm almost certain they will not use this kind of material for the phone.

MacWorld, quarterly report and market in general. Expectations of MacWorld beyond reality and can't top iPhone. Quarterly report also not up to predictions.
To be correct - it wasn't so much the quarterly earnings but the outlook. There is a huge concern in the market that the US economy is not only slowing down but heading towards a regression.
What is everybodys guess ? How deep will they fall ? Below $108 ? Below $125 ? I already have some and want to buy more. Its always nice to hit the low point.

I believe icerabbit was referring to a feature to restore an item to its original location once putting it in the trash. Windows has this feature in the recycle bin and it's a handy little feature.
This isn't to do with Time Machine as the user has not yet deleted the item from the Trash and the system.

Apple still doesn't offer 3G connectivity in their MBP's . That's pretty pathetic. For all their claims of superiority, its actually just smoke and mirrors. PC laptops have had that for years while Apple remains in the dark ages.

Sigh, I'm getting the distinct impression that iCal is going to add a bunch of new features and not fix many of the usability problems it already has now. For instance, there is no way to shift several events in time simultaneously, you have to change each one individually. Another is that when you select several events from different calendars and copy and paste them they all turn into the same calendar category.
There are many more problems like these, but I've seen no mention in the preview reports that iCal has done anything to refine the existing features, only that new features are being added. If anyone with a preview can inform me of the contrary I'd be quite happy to hear it.

because if apple is going to say a new iphone is coming, only a fool will buy the old one at full price
i bet a new is coming in June but apple doesn't want to see a sales drop off. anyone that asks me i tell them that expect a new one in June and don't buy the 4 since it's stone age tech by now

Yeah, if it weren't exclusive the load would be split between multiple networks, and also increase competition in terms of network performance, features, and pricing. But no, that would be too logical...
You suck Apple! At least you have a chance to correct your mistake, just don't renew the agreement with AT&T.

Second, sure htc would be closer to apple sales if they had four products as strong as thunderbolt. But they don't so it's completely irrelevant.
Kenmore would have sales competing with apple if they had several phones as successful as the thunderbolt
You have to think that the thunderbolt has a slight negative thing about it that is hindering its sells. The battery life.

I feel safe running OSX...
Although the future will eventually bring us Mac users some "possible exploits" and other privacy invasions, I feel that Apple has made a good job so far protecting OSX and, as far as I'm concerned, they have earned my trust.
What I'm saying is that we should all just take it easy and worry about this stuff when it actually happens and IF it happens. However, as of now, I think these "kernel bugs" are nothing more than reverse advertisement for the new upcoming Windows, call me paranoid, but I know a lot of PC maniacs are dying for Mac's to get any kind of V.I.S.T.A (Virus Infections Spyware Trojans Adware). In fact, I'm more scared of being kicked by a horse today than getting Mac Viruses in the next couple of years :rolleyes:

Chartists come to absurd conclusions, such as AAPL having support at 60. This means a trailing P/E based on current earnings (without growth) of around 15. At 40, we're talking a P/E of ten. This assumes that AAPL's growth days are over, as of now. Does anything we know about the company, including its historical growth and product offerings comport with the idea of Apple turning into Dow Chemical? I don't think so.
PE's historically range between 7(bear lows) and 18 (bull highs) so 10 would be about the point where the weekly P&F chart (54) turns bearish.
However you must consider that AAPL is 100% discretionary consumer spending so when recession hits consumers will cut back in favour of things like food and oil. Want another negative, here is one, 18 billion in cash...held in a fast depreciating currency (lost half its value over the past 6 years). Or how about this, DRM free music, sure to result in more file sharing and less iTunes sales. And on the topic of iTunes, another negative, all that new competition...one of them is sure to break the AAPL hold on that market.
That weekly P&F chart is the worst I have seen in the past 5 years :eek:
